How to apply a Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders certificate completed with another organization to a Scouter's MyScouts account
Scouters with a current Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders training certificate can apply it to meet Scouts Canada’s requirements – they do not need to retake the training until their certificate expires (after 5 years).
Important: To import your already completed Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders certificate received from an another organization the email address you use to login to MyScouts needs to be the same as the email address you used in the past to receive Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders.
If your MyScouts account is not accessed using the same email address you used to receive Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders in the past the program is unable to recognize your account & won't allow you to import your previously completed certificate. You are able to update your MyScouts account to be accessed using the email address you used to receive Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders in the past by selecting 'Update Password and Language' from 'Member Options' in MyScouts. Once updated you will be able to import the certificate.
Step 1: Login to MyScouts
Step 2: Select Scouting Fundamentals
Step 3: Select & Launch Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
Step 4: Select Existing User to log into that account and Import your certificate.
