What is Volunteering with Scouts like?
Volunteering with Scouts Canada is enjoyable, adaptable, and rewarding. Whether you can volunteer weekly, monthly, or annually, any time you give is valued.
You’ll work alongside a team of enthusiastic volunteers who love Scouting adventures just as much as the kids they help. We offer training and exciting activities, while you bring your enthusiasm.
There are many ways to volunteer, whether you prefer administrative tasks, sharing your skills, or directly supporting youth. Your time commitment can vary based on your schedule and role.
Why is volunteering with Scouts such a great experience?
You can learn new skills to reach your goals, both personally and professionally. A trained volunteer goes through online and hands-on learning about youth, planning programs, leading, and managing risks.
In Scouting, you can also pick up skills like marketing, communication, money management, and fundraising. Plus, Scouts Canada has top-notch courses to help volunteers grow.
How do I volunteer with Scouts Canada?
Volunteering with Scouts Canada is easy, fun and flexible. You will be supported by a team of dynamic adults who get as much fun out of Scouting adventures as the youth they mentor. We provide the training and adventure. You provide the enthusiasm.
