How Scouters share online learning with Group Commissioners or other Scouters

Sharing your Awards (certificates and badges) to your profile will allow your Group Commissioner and Support Scouters to easily view your learning completions from your profile.

You will be awarded a badge for each Session you complete.

IMPORTANT: The system takes a few moments to issue your badge once you complete a session or milestone, please be patient.

When you are awarded with a badge for completion, you will see a pop-up notice like this:

To view all of your awards for this course, click on Awards from the top navigation bar.

a. From the "My Awards" view you will be able to "Share" your certificates and badges to your profile.

b. You can use the search function to bring up specific badges.

c. Additional filter options allow you to see only badges or certificates and include awards from other courses (i.e.: Scouting Fundamentals).

d. Certificates are issued once you complete a learning milestone. Click on the badge to view completion information and to download a PDF Certificate of Completion.

e. Badges are issued once you complete individual Sessions.

How Group Commissioners and other Scouters view a Scouters online learning progress when 'Awards' are shared by Scouters in the David Huestis Learning Centre

How to do this is covered in the question above

 

To access Learner Progress go to the course you would like track.

Click on Scouting Fundamentals, or Wood Badge I from the My Courses widget on the Learning Centre homepage, or use the Waffle icon at top of the page.

Once you are in a course, click Learner Progress from the top navigation bar.

  1. Use the Search bar to find the Scouter you would like to track. *TIP* If there are learners with the same name, you can search using their Member Number (ex: 10215625)
  2. The Content Completed, Objectives and Logins columns provides a high-level view of their progress.
  3. Hover of the Scouter’s name to view any Awards they have achieved and shared to their profile. 


Click on the Scouter’s name to view more details.

Progress Summary

  1. Hover of the Scouter’s name to view any Awards they have achieved and shared to their profile.
  2. Use Progress Summary menu to view more details.
  3. Content progress breaks down the content pieces the Scouter has visited.
