Scout Popcorn originally became a successful fundraising tool in Alberta, eventually becoming a Nation-wide Scouting Fundraiser. The pandemic put us on our heels, and attempts to pivot to a Canadian supplier, with a different selling procedure and fewer active groups (due to Covid restrictions) have been met with more than a couple of bumps in the road. Along with our other Scouts Canada fundraisers and fundraising created at the group level, we continue to hope to offer our membership the opportunity to fund outstanding adventure opportunities for our youth.
Papa Jack Popcorn is the 2024 Scout Popcorn supplier! They are a family-owned and operated business out of Ottawa, ON. This is our fourth year of partnership and we’re excited to bring back some old favourites and new bundles for the 2024 season.

- Groups can collect their orders using the order sheet tool: https://brandfolder.com/s/rz5v6nx8hfq7rf7qb4f5spnc
This form is a fillable PDF and so can be shared via email, social media, etc. Groups can also order pallets to have the products on hand to sell door-to-door or during events. We highly recommend Groups order the pre-set pallets (see below) for optimal efficiency and cost.
- Once the order is complete, Groups need to fill out the online Bulk Order form which will directly go to the National Service Centre. NOTE: We also highly recommend for Groups to purchase the 'pre-set pallets’ options for optimal efficiency and cost, and to have products on hands when selling. Find our 'pre-set pallets’ options: Link not yet available
- Scouts Canada will then communicate with PapaJack about shipping fees and order specifics.
- Once a shipping estimate is ready, we will reach back out to Groups who can then either confirm or decline the order.
- If confirmed, an invoice will be drafted for payment. Methods of payment include VISA, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, and cheque. All cheque payments must be sent to Scouts Canada’s national head office (please include your contact, Group/Section and order information).

In general, there are 6 layers per pallet if products are mixed and matched. If 1 full pallet of 1 type of product is ordered, the number of layers varies based on the packaging (ex: 1 pallet of Healthy Mix is 7 layers). We highly suggest that groups order the pre-set pallets developed by Papa Jack's for optimal efficiency and cost. Please refer to the Pre-Made Pallets options.
How to maximize your order value when shipping a pallet of popcorn
1 Pallet = 63 shipping boxes of product

The profits from a Group Bulk Order are determined by the price that the Group sells the popcorn for.
How much should I sell popcorn for?
The recommended retail prices can be found at scoutpopcorn.ca. This pricing does not include shipping and therefore Groups may wish to incorporate their shipping fees into the selling prices of the popcorn.

45% of product sales goes directly to Groups while the remaining proceeds, after paying for the costs of the product, goes to No One Left Behind (NOLB).
How are Shipping Rates Determined?
Even though popcorn is light weight, it takes up a lot of room.
We have worked out a rate schedule with Canada Post to ensure this is the cheapest shipping option available for online popcorn orders.
When shipping Bulk Orders, we work with multiple shipping companies to keep shipping rates as low as possible.
