Quick History

Scout Popcorn originally became a successful fundraising tool in Alberta, eventually becoming a Nation-wide Scouting Fundraiser. The pandemic put us on our heels, and attempts to pivot to a Canadian supplier, with a different selling procedure and fewer active groups (due to Covid restrictions) have been met with more than a couple of bumps in the road. Along with our other Scouts Canada fundraisers and fundraising created at the group level, we continue to hope to offer our membership the opportunity to fund outstanding adventure opportunities for our youth.

Papa Jack Popcorn is the 2024 Scout Popcorn supplier! They are a family-owned and operated business out of Ottawa, ON. This is our fourth year of partnership and we’re excited to bring back some old favourites and new bundles for the 2024 season.
