These are some commonly asked questions for parents new to Scouting.
The 2017/2018 Scouting year officially runs from September 1st 2017 to August 31st 2018.
Most Scouts group run their program parallel to the academic year, starting in September and ending in May or June.
In July and August, many Scouts participate in summer activities that are organized by their local Council office.
The primary method for registering is online through MyScouts.ca.

Yes! We generally allow two visits for a child before asking parents to commit and register their child with the group. If you would like to do this please contact the group through Find a Group to arrange.
