The 'Find a group' page is designed to connect you with the 10 closest groups to you based on your postal code and the age category of the section you are searching.
Your local group can be found by using the Find-a-Group locator - JOIN
Step 2: Select your youth's new Group
Once you’ve included your information and selected Find Groups you will be re-directed to the page seen below - the information you've already added; postal code, child's age and night's you are interested in will be re-populated when you are re-directed.
This page lists the results of your Find a Group search
A map of where your nearest groups are and basic information on where and when they run will appear.
Below the map will be a list of the 10 closest Groups based on your postal code and the age category of the section you are searching.
When a Group has spaces available the listing will appear with the options to 'Contact' the Group', 'Sign in to Register' and to 'Create an Account'.
Select 'Sign into Register' if you already have a MyScouts account and are seeking to initiate a new registration
Select 'Create an Account' if you do not already have a MyScouts account and are seeking to register your youth as a 1st time participant.
If you are ready to register refer to the article 'How to Register a 1st time youth participant: Step-by-step'
When a Group is not currently accepting new participants you may contact the Group to make an inquiry or request to be placed on the wait list.
Please Note: If the locator does not yield a result, then your postal code may need to be added to the database by the Help Centre by selecting 'Submit Request' below.
